Cases and sustainability

The units are shock-resistant and can withstand falls on grass and artificial turf, just try not to throw the units up in the air. On harder surfaces such as asphalt, there may be scratches and cracks if the drop is too high, so the recommendation is to avoid this type of environment. In case of hard indoor floors, you can think about not putting the unit in high positions that exceed 200cm and you overturn the whole package.

Ball hit

Try to keep the lamp away from hard shots as your guns can damage the unit, place the lamps strategically and preferably behind targets if you are going to snipe in the same.

Rainfall

The devices can withstand rain, but be careful to wipe the devices after damp weather and especially in the charging hole.

Winter

If you want to brave the weather and drive in the winter months too, that’s fine. But like all tech products like your cell phone, battery life degrades a bit if you’re out in double-digit temperatures, so don’t forget your hat.

To keep your trigger or lamp unit updated and running with the latest software, follow these simple steps. The update process requires you to first download and extract the necessary files, and then use the update software to complete the process.

ATTENTION. Right now it only works with Windows

Step 1: Download the update software

  1. Download the software package.
  2. Visit the link to download the update software.
  3. Link to update software: PlayIQLightInstall_v2.0.1
  4. Extract the files.
  5. When the download is complete, navigate to the downloaded file.
  6. Right-click on the zip file and select “Extract all” to unzip the files to a folder of your choice.

Step 2: Download the software file

  • Download the specific software file for your device.
  • Visit the links below to download the latest software file for your device.
  • Play IQ Light Software V3.3
  • Link: REL-PlayIQLight-v3.3
  • Extract the files.
  • As in the previous step, navigate to the downloaded file.
  • Right-click on the zip file and select “Extract all” to unzip the content to a folder of your choice.

Step 3: Connect your device

  • Connect your trigger or lamp unit.
  • Connect your device to your computer with the supplied cable.
  • Make sure the device is turned on.

Step 4: Open the update software

  • Start the update program.
  • Navigate to the folder where you extracted the update software.
  • Double-click on the update program’s exe file to launch it.

Step 5: Update your device

  • Follow the instructions in the update program.
  • Once the update program is open, it will recognize your connected device.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to select the correct software file and start the update process.
  • Wait for the update to complete.
  • A progress bar will show the progress of the update.
  • When the update is complete, a confirmation will be displayed. It is important not to disconnect the device until the update is fully completed.

Instructional movie

The light does not work when I press the ON button

1. When pressing the ON button, keep this button pressed for a maximum of 3 seconds.

2. Charge the device for a couple of hours and try point 1 again.

How do I test the diodes and that they are lit?

1. When you are in programming mode and press the Test button, all diodes are tested and when you are in operation mode and press the Test button, there is a countdown with the numbers 3, 2 and 1.

The lamp does not light up when I do Triggering and the red device

1. do the following movie to ensure that the basic functions work and after the movie you can be more confident that the function works as promised, probably there are some beginner’s mistakes in the settings that cause the synchronization to not work between Lamp and Trigger.

The lamp sometimes only works

1. review the setting in the Trigger device so that you have not set more lamps than you use, it will then be triggered to send a lamp number that is not used and which leads to this behavior.

2. the distance should not exceed 30m and sometimes there is radio interference in the vicinity which means that you have to temporarily reduce the distance between Trigger and Lamp, try it out.
